Business Owner Highlight!

We were also lucky enough to chat with the business owner, Renata from Tinyb Chocolate to get the inside scoop as to why they decided to start their own business!

How did you get your idea or concept for the business? “Brigadeiros are Brazil’s national treat – something all of us grow up with and love. Being Brazilian, I’m no exception. On top of that, my mother was our town’s chocolatier and I helped her for many years as I grew up. tinyB chocolate is my own personal take on this classic treat –  part Brazil, part Renata and part San Francisco, of course.”

What products do you offer/make? “We focus completely on brigadeiros and gifting, for personal or business occasions, is the biggest part of what we do. We also offer chocolate-making experiences for teams, which have become very popular.”
To what do you attribute your success? “I think my excitement shows. This is my favorite treat and I’m proud to be introducing it to a city like San Francisco where people are interested in new food, new ideas, new experiences.”

What is unique about your business?Everything we do is freshly made and made by hand – and people can tell that it’s done with love.”

If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? “Focus on your customers and constantly aim to delight them.”
